Walton Parish Nursing is looking to employ someone with mental health experience to work in an established team of health care professionals. This well-established service is provided in association with Parish Nursing Ministries UK and aims to improve and maintain the wholistic health and wellbeing of local people.
Hours per week: 15 hours (details to be discussed)
Salary: Up to £12,000 per annum (subject to qualifications and experience)
Location: Walton, Felixstowe, Suffolk

The Parish Nurse role includes:
- General health education.
- Personal health screening, mental health support and referral.
- Advocacy for individuals and mental health more widely.
- Acting as mental health navigator and resource.
- Providing spiritual care.
- Liaising with other local services.
The person will be required to undertake a formal role preparation and to offer spiritual care and Christian prayer when requested. It is therefore a genuine occupational requirement for the applicant to be a Christian.
