Mansion House Publishing and PULSE

Mansion House Publishing is delighted to add PULSE, a quarterly magazine produced in association with Heartbeat (East Suffolk), to its ever-expanding portfolio.

Heartbeat has delivered PULSE to members and heart patients and family members at hospitals and clinics across the region for over 17 years. When the editor expressed a desire to step down, Mike Farthing, chair of Heartbeat (East Suffolk), approached Mansion House Publishing with the idea of PULSE becoming a joint enterprise.

“I receive a copy of In Touch with Kesgrave through my letterbox every month, so I was familiar with Mansion House Publishing and felt they would be a good fit for PULSE,” says Mike.

We support several charities every year but the opportunity to produce PULSE together with Heartbeat was an interesting proposition,” says Steve. “Mike explained how valuable it is to members and their families and we not only felt it was something we wanted to support but knew that our clients would be keen to support it too

Steve Stone

Managing Director
Mansion House Publishing

I joined Heartbeat 17 years ago after having my first heart attack, a difficult and very worrying time. I was given a copy of PULSE at my first meeting and reading it at home later I realised my experience was not unique and that a new and positive future lay before me. As well as providing useful information, the magazine helps members to make new friends, so every edition is treasured, shared and enjoyed until the next one arrives. I’m so grateful to Steve and Daren for their support and this first edition is more than we could have hoped for.

Mike Farthing

Heartbeat Chairman

It’s always exciting to present a new prospect to enthusiastic clients but we’ve taken on PULSE to help raise funds for Heartbeat, which is a registered charity, and we’re inviting our clients to do likewise. With their support, we will endeavour to raise the profile of Heartbeat and help this relatively small charity carry on doing so much to support members and to protect others by making defibrillators widely available.

You Too Can Help Support PULSE

Heartbeat is a self-help group providing support and information to those within the region who have heart problems. It also raises funds to install and maintain defibrillators (27 so far) and to provide personal hygiene products for emergency patients.

PULSE is not a medical publication. Alongside
important information and news from Heartbeat, the magazine focuses on inspiring and bringing joy to readers with a mix of lifestyle articles, short stories, activities and humour.

We are committed to supporting this extremely valuable charity and inviting a small number of our key clients to join us. The chairman has identified the sectors which Heartbeat members are most keen to engage with – home maintenance and improvement, landscaping/garden design and maintenance, mobile hairdressing/beauty treatments (e.g. manicures and pedicures) and food/meal delivery services

Advert Sizes and Rates

Each edition of PULSE will be 32 pages, printed
colour throughout on 130gsm Gloss Art. 1,000
copies will be printed and distributed in February, May, August and November every year. Ideally, we would like each advertiser to commit to a full year, i.e. four editions.
