St Elizabeth Hospice Autumn Firewalk

St Elizabeth Hospice is calling on all brave ‘soles’ to take part in its autumn Firewalk 2022.

Taking place on Saturday 22 October, the event will see fearless fire walkers cross barefoot over a 15ft path of red-hot embers in aid of the hospice, which provides free services to improve life for people living with a progressive or life-limiting illness across East Suffolk, Great Yarmouth and Waveney.

One brave ‘sole’ taking part in this year’s Firewalk is St Elizabeth Hospice nurse, Jo Shaw, who said: “I am really looking forward to the Firewalk this autumn. It is something I have never done before and it’s a great opportunity to support the hospice.

“The nursing team are always overwhelmed by the support we receive from the local community, so it will be great to have the chance to fundraise together with them for the hospice and I am sure there will be a fantastic atmosphere.”
