Our office building in Orwell Road may have been sold but the Citizens Advice team is still in business and working hard on behalf of clients in East Suffolk, and Felixstowe in particular.
Since our merger in April 2022 with the Citizens Advice offices in Leiston and North East Suffolk, we are now known as Citizens Advice East Suffolk (CAES) and provide one service for clients across East Suffolk through four main offices and six outreaches. The merger enables us to access specialist advice for clients across East Suffolk, including Felixstowe. These cover areas such as debt, housing and benefits.
Our team of volunteers continue to take calls from clients with enquiries on a wide variety of issues and we are available for timed appointments if clients prefer to see a friendly face. We hold comprehensive information on coping with the cost-of-living, help with energy bills, food banks and where you can keep warm with a cuppa in the town.
We have recently started a new face-to-face drop-in service based at Martlesham Council Parish Room, Felixstowe Road IP12 4BP, where an adviser will be available on the third Tuesday of the month from 9am-noon.
