Little Hoppers – a nursery at the heart of the community

Little Hoppers is a nursery at the heart of the community. We are located within St Philip’s Church Hall, Wadgate Road, Felixstowe IP11 2LY and based alongside the community hub. 

We are passionate about providing affordable, low-cost childcare for families in the local area. 

Many families don’t realize that they are entitled to free childcare, either two-year-old funding dependent on income and benefits or three-year-old funding in which all children are entitled to receive at least 15 hours free childcare the term after their third birthday. Children of working parents could be entitled to 30 hours free childcare.

We have a dedicated, hardworking and passionate team who are keen to help children thrive in their learning and development. The wide range of activities we provide are tailored to our children, ensuring that the individual child’s needs and interests are met. 

We promote diversity by welcoming children from all cultures, faiths and backgrounds and aim to celebrate special events associated with all religions and beliefs.

We will often be seen out and about taking the children on visits to the local library, down to the beach, on the bus and exploring the local parks. 

We help the children prepare for school through a range of different activities and often visit the local primary school during the term before so the children can get a taste of the next stage of their journey.
