The team at the Transport Museum are delighted to be getting back to normal and can’t wait to welcome you all back. Their vehicles are open for the public to go on again, though the two-metre rule will be enforced. Social distancing must be observed in the play areas and the tearoom will also be open, with table service in the museum and the rear garden.

They will be open on the following dates:

  • 11am-4pm every Sunday
  • 1-4pm Monday to Friday in the school holidays, including the summer holidays (21 July to 31 August), summer half-term (31 May to 4 June) and October half term (25-29 October)
  • 11am-4pm on bank holiday Saturdays (29 May and 28 August)
  • 1-4pm every Wednesday in September

All the prices are the same as they were last year. Please see their website for more details.

They are always looking to recruit volunteers so if you think this might be of interest to you, please talk to one of their stewards during your visit.
