The first week of February saw the final weekend of the Suffolk County Swimming Championships, where we took five relay teams, competing in freestyle and medley relays. Everyone raced really well and the girls, aged 10 and 11 years, achieved bronze in both the freestyle event (Polly, Summer, Chloe and Joselyn) and the medley event (Polly, Summer, Scarlett and Joselyn).
Training continues as we look forwards to the March Mighty Meet at Crown Pools and the Norwich Easter Meet at the Sport Park, UEA. Felixstowe Waves members swim at Felixstowe Leisure Centre and the club offers lessons for swimmers from five-years-old, swimming for fun and fitness and swimming to train and compete.
