Felixstowe Salvation Army

Being part of the mainstream church at Easter is an important part of the Christian year for us. We are currently celebrating Lent as part of our build-up to the Easter celebrations. Holy Week for us commences with Palm Sunday; Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. On Good Friday we meditate on Jesus’ arrest, trial and crucifixion, and then we will celebrate Jesus’ resurrection on Easter Sunday.

Music, including the singing of traditional Easter hymns, plays a major part in our celebrations. In addition to being part of both indoor and open-air services, our band will be presenting a free concert, Music for a Spring Evening, on Saturday 1 April at 7pm. All are welcome to join us for this concert and our Easter celebrations at the Salvation Army in Cobbold Road.
