50 Things to Do after Lockdown in Visit Felixstowe

As the key dates in the Government’s roadmap come and go… the seaside town of Felixstowe in Suffolk is gearing itself up ready for wonderful summer staycations by the sea.

In readiness, the official Tourism organisation for the town – Visit Felixstowe and the newly formed Felixstowe Business Improvement District are launching 50 Things to Do after Lockdown, a unique and fabulous list of attractions and activities for everyone to discover, experience and enjoy.

From learning to sail at Felixstowe Ferry and exploring the magnificent Landguard Fort, to indie shopping, beachcombing, artisan ice creams, getting hands-on with local artists and walking the Martello Coast Path. Take a picture with The Wickers, tee off on the Kingsfleet, go seal spotting or enjoy a family cycle ride along the prom.

Check out the full list at www.visitfelixstowe.org.uk/features-and-stories/50-things-to-do-after-lockdown-in-visit-felixstowe

Full details on the attractions and activities mentioned can be found at www.visitfelixstowe.org.uk or why not pop along to the Visit Felixstowe Tourist Information Centre beach hut, located on the prom opposite the Town Hall, where our band of Visit Felixstowe ambassadors can provide helpful advice, leaflets and maps.

Charles Manning (Manning’s Amusements and Beach Street Felixstowe) from the newly formed Felixstowe Business Improvement District, says “Felixstowe offers a host of wonderful seaside days out, short breaks and longer stays. We hope our list of 50 Things to Do provides you with inspiring, creative and fun ideas for all ages and interests. The question is… how many of these can you tick off this summer?”.
